When every second counts, a tourniquet can be the difference between life and death in an emergency. A tourniquet is a constricting bandage used to stop arterial bleeding in an arm or leg. This model has been carefully selected to provide maximum safety and ease of use in critical situations.

CrisisPatrol's Tourniquet Pro is constructed from durable, high-quality materials and features a solid metal windlass, providing superior durability and reliability compared to the plastic models available on the market.

✅ Home accidents – For severe cuts or crush injuries resulting in heavy bleeding.

✅ Traffic accidents – Can be used in serious car, motorcycle, or bicycle accidents where a person has a life-threatening bleeding in an arm or leg.

✅ Hunting and wilderness adventures – In accidents involving hunting weapons, knives, or other sharp objects far from medical care.

✅ Workplace accidents – In construction, industry, or agriculture where machinery or tools cause severe bleeding.

✅ Terrorist attacks and violent acts – Can be life-saving in gunshot wounds or other violence-related incidents.

✅ Natural disasters – In earthquakes, storms, or other catastrophes where injuries with major blood loss can occur.

✅ War and defense – Used by military, police, and emergency services in conflict and crisis situations.

A tourniquet is used to stop life-threatening bleeding on arms or legs. Follow these steps:

  1. Identify the bleeding – Check where the bleeding is and if it is severe (pulsating or gushing blood).
  2. Place the tourniquet – Position it 2–4 inches above the wound, never directly over a joint.
  3. Always place the tourniquet 2–4 inches above the wound but on a muscular part of the arm or leg, for example, over the thigh or upper arm, where it gets a good grip and can effectively stop the bleeding.
  4. Tighten – Pull the strap as tight as possible.
  5. Turn the windlass – Use the windlass (tension rod) to tighten further until the bleeding stops.
  6. Lock in place – Securely fasten the windlass with the locking mechanism.
  7. Note the time – Write down or communicate the time the tourniquet was applied. This is important for medical personnel.
  8. Leave it on – Do NOT remove it yourself; only medical personnel should do so.

⚠️ WARNING! A tourniquet should only be used for life-threatening bleeding and removed only by medical personnel.

- Self-adhesive band – Ensures the tourniquet stays firmly in place and is easy to adjust.

- Adaptive friction buckle – Allows for width adjustment and ensures pressure is evenly distributed.

- One-handed grip – Designed to be applied even if you only have one hand available.

- Extra internal band – Provides greater and more comprehensive pressure on the bleeding for maximum effect.

- Secure locking – The windlass is quickly secured with a built-in hook, and a Velcro strap provides additional locking during transport.

- Time marking – Ability to mark the application time with a pen, which is important for medical follow-up.

Detailed instructions in English are included.

There are many imitation tourniquets on the market that do not meet standards. A fake or low-quality tourniquet can break during use, which can be life-threatening in an emergency. Always buy from a reliable retailer and ensure your tourniquet is of the highest quality – it can be the difference between life and death!
